If so, bring YOUR skills and talents to Lilly where you can lead the change to impact the lives of patients What You’ll Be Doing In this role, you will implement scale, re-use and speed in the design, engineering and deployment of AI Monitoring solutions. Leading both the strategy and execution of the monitoring capability that will enable sophisticated AI systems to drive innovation in operations across various domains and formats, using innovative AI technologies and tools. How You’ll Succeed Strategic Leadership: Drive the AI Monitoring capability vision and strategy to create and deliver a roadmap that supports the company’s transformational goals Execution: Deliver on company’s strategic big bets and create a platform strategy for Monitoring that transcends across use cases and functional areas. Innovation: Lead the development and implementation of pioneering AI monitoring solutions (e.g., platforms and models) to enhance drug discovery, development, and patient care across Lilly’s technical teams. Collaboration: Work closely with multi-functional teams including R&D, Manufacturing, and commercial operations to integrate AI technologies. Regulatory Compliance: Partner with Lilly’s compliance functions to ensure AI initiatives align with industry regulations and standards. Talent Development: Recruit, mentor, and develop an impactful AI team. AI Operations: Ensure optimal AI system performance in maintenance, tracking, quality, and compliance. What You Should Bring Leadership Skills: Proven track record of leading large, diverse teams and managing complex projects. Technical Skills: Strong abilities in machine learning, deep learning, natural language processing, and data analytics. Prior experience using natural language processing (NLP), Foundation Models (FMs), and modern Large Language Models (LLMs), and other machine learning algorithms to create monitoring products and features. Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical partners. Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on innovative solutions. Your Basic Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or a related field. 10 years of IT leadership experience with expertise in industry standard methodologies. 3 years of shown experience in working with AI technologies and tools, such as natural language processing (NLP), AI generation, machine learning algorithms, deep learning, etc. Other Considerations Position located in Indianapolis, Indiana working in a hybrid model.
