Travel Nurse RN - CVOR in Kankakee, IL

**Job Title:** Registered Nurse (RN)

**Job Specialty:** Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR)

**Job Duration:** 13 weeks

**Shift:** 10-hour Days, 4 days per week (6:30 AM - 5:00 PM), with on-call during weeknights, weekends, and holidays

**Guaranteed Hours:** 40 hours per week

**Experience:** Minimum 1 year in CVOR, with ortho/neuro/vascular experience in the main OR

**License:** Must have a valid IL nursing license

**Certifications:** Basic Life Support (BLS)

**Must-Have:** Epic experience

**Job Description:**

- Perform duties in the Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR).- Handle common cases such as CABG, TAVR, Valves, Impella, and IABP.- Scrubbing required in both CV and Main OR.- Collaborate with charge nurses and OR techs.- Utilize Epic EMR system for charting.- Rotating shifts: 6:30 AM - 3:30 PM, 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM, potential for 12-hour shifts as needed.- Participate in weeknight, weekend, and holiday on-call schedule as required.- Must maintain a 45-minute call response time.- Float to the main OR if there are no cases in CVOR.- Scrubs are provided by the facility.- Attend unit/department-specific orientation for 1-2 shifts.
