Must have recent hospital experience.Trauma level II experience required.Prior travel experience REQUIRED.Charting Experience: Epic REQUIRED.Equipment used: Epic EMR, Rovers for medication scanning, Alaris pumpsUnit Overview: Nurse to pt ratio: day/pm 1:4 or 5, nights 1:5- 6Fast paced post-surgical unit that averages 10-15 admissions per dayOccupancy of unit is 90-95% during the week with average length of stay 2 – 3 days (except joints).RN must have ability to multi task and prioritize patient care needs based on acuity and work as a team.Job Requirements

Unit Specific Skillset: Post Surgical Care Unit post recovery after Pacu.40 bed inpatient area that provides care along a continuum for pre and post-surgical adults and geriatric patients.Nurse to patient ratio: day/pm 1:4 or 5, nights 1:5-6Fast paced post-surgical unit that averages 10-15 admissions per day with the highest occurring on Day/PM.Occupancy of unit is 90-95% during the week with average length of stay 2 – 3 days (except joints).Additional Details
Radius Rule: Contractors must be outside a 50 mile radius of the facilityFloat Requirements: To all inpatient units with appropriate patient assignmentsOn Call/Call Back Requirements: N/AScrub color: anyGSA hours are not guaranteed the week of Orientation.Traveler is guaranteed set hours per week, except during holidays where unit is closed.
