Weekly Pay$2329.0 Shift Details ShiftNight - 12x3 - 07PM Scheduled Hours36 Job Order Details Start Date12/17/2024 End Date03/15/2025 Duration13 Week(s) Job Description Job Title: Registered Nurse - Telemetry Job Specialty: Telemetry Nursing Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00 PM - 07:30 AM, Nights and Every Other Weekend, 36 hours per week Guaranteed Hours: [Information not provided] Experience: Minimum of 2 years required License: Current RN License Certifications: - ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)- BLS (Basic Life Support)- Telemetry certified Must-Have: Ability to read and interpret telemetry strips Job Description: - Work in a 37-bed medical telemetry unit- Care for patients admitted from emergency services, transferred from other units, or directly admitted by a physician- Manage patients on cardiac drips, including Cardizem, Nitroglycerin, Lasix, and Heparin- Provide care for post-pacemaker and post-cardiac catheterization patients- Care for NSTEMI patients- Float to applicable units when needed- Maintain knowledge of cardiac drips and telemetry interpretation- Clinician-to-patient ratio is 1:4 to 1:5 during day and evening, and 1:5-6 during the night- Primary patient diagnoses include CHF, Atrial Fibrillation, Pulmonary Embolus, pneumonia, ETOH, and dementia with cardiac co-morbidities- Occasionally admit surgical patients if other units lack availability- Use EPIC for charting and electronic medical recordsPlease apply if you meet the above requirements and are seeking a challenging and rewarding position in a telemetry unit.
