Job Description:
- Provide care to assigned residents in a caring, safe, and efficient manner.- Complete the assigned portions of the MDS for Nursing and sign MDS forms to signify completion.- Maintain residents' self-esteem, privacy, and confidentiality of personal information.- Assist in maintaining safe, pleasant, orderly resident living areas.- Complete the nursing portion of MDS and review for completion and validity.- Check the accuracy of MDS in collaboration with other team members and provide a final quality check prior to MDS transmission.- Share and receive relevant information; observe and report residents' conditions.- Communicate with physicians using center/campus systems.- Direct and assist with co-worker, resident, and family/significant other education.- Provide support and recognition to co-workers related to the completion of the RAI/MDS process.- Accurately use the electronic medical record (EMR) system.- Comply with all related laws, regulations, company policies, and procedures.- Perform additional duties and responsibilities as required.
Physical/Mental Requirements:
- Ability to communicate and comprehend effectively in English, both orally and in writing.- Physical ability to operate, inspect, and position objects or controls.- Frequently communicate and assess information relative to the position.- Required to maintain a stationary position and move in response to job tasks.- Lift up to 25 lbs.
Work Environment:
- The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.- Frequency of travel may vary based on business needs.
