Day Shift - 1 Charge Nurse/10 staff/bedside nurses/4 PCTs/1 Unit SecretaryNight Shift - 1 Charge Nurse/10 staff/bedside nurses/3 PCTsPatient Ratios - 1:4; stretch staffing at 1:5 ratioEvery other weekend rotationUnit Specific Information

Number of Beds - 40Type of patients: patients with CHF, MI, CP, arrhythmia, Pulmonary Hypertension; valvular disease, endocarditis; DKA; post cardiac cath/stent; post pacer/ICD/ ablation.Type of equipment: Zoll, Baxter pump, lift equipments, bladder scanner;EMR - CernerPreferred skills include experience with prostacyclins (Flolan, Veletri, Remodulin), and relief charge experience.
