For over 100 years, our family-owned business has proudly served customers along the east coast while growing our organization and valuing all team members. We're looking for someone who has delivery driving experience in the 5 boroughs of New York City and is looking for a new environment to grow. Responsibilities:
Perform daily pre-trip and safety inspections on equipmentLeaving from our Philadelphia location & making deliveries to Philadelphia & surrounding areasUnload products from our trucks by utilizing hand carts and placed in designated customer areasThis may include transporting products down ramps, stairs, or docks in all weather conditions.Handling products with care when deliveringResponsible for keeping company trucks in good conditionOperate vehicles in a variety of traffic and weather conditionsRepresenting the Julius Silvert brand, by providing our customers with friendly and professional customer serviceQualifications:
Valid & in good standing driver's license - CDL A or BAt least 2 years of experience operating 26' box trucks for deliveryExperience utilizing a hand truckClean driving recordFlexible with working hoursMust be able to pass pre-employment screening (background check and a DOT physical & 10-panel drug screenAbility to lift 50lbsFamiliarity with 5 Boroughs of New York CityEEO M/F/D/V
