Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse at Deaconess Midtown Hospital13-week contract with potential start dates of 12/2 or 12/16 with bi-weekly orientationGuaranteed Hours: 36 (48 upon request)No local candidates (40-mile radius rule applies)Shift Requirement: 12hr Nights 6:30-7Job Requirements
Minimum Experience REQUIRED: Two years of strong Med/Surg, 1 travel assignment, trauma level II experienceCharting Experience: Recent EPIC experience required (will be required to do a checkoff class)Skillset requires remote telemetry, chest tubes, NG/PEG tubes, straight catheters/Foleys, ostomies, Heparin drips, blood/blood product administration, tracheostomy care, PCA managementMust have strong assessment and critical thinking skillsHard worker, resilient and manages change well, socially adept candidatesSchedule Information
Primary location: MidtownFloat Requirement: First to float within skillset to nearby campusesWeekend/Holiday Requirement: Three weekends out of every six-week schedule and every other holidayUnit Specific Information
