Travel RN - Behavioral Health
Shift : Nights / 7p-7:30a, 12x3, 36 hours per week, EOW
Length : 13 weeks
Requirements:MO License1 Year ExperienceEpic, medical, and Psych experienceGeriatric, Inpatient, Locked Unit, Medical/Psych, Substance use/Chemical Dependency, Medication Administration (PO, RECTAL, IM, IV, SC, etc), Starting and maintaining IVs, Blood glucose monitoring, Foley catheter insertion / maintenanceBLSCPIOther Details:

Ratios: 1:6
Years of experience REQ: 1
First-timers accepted: (Y/N) Yes
Weekend REQ: Every other
Certs REQ: BLS, CPI
Skills REQ: Geriatric, Inpatient, Locked Unit, Medical/Psych, Substance use/Chemical Dependency, Medication Administration (PO, RECTAL, IM, IV, SC, etc), Starting and maintaining IVs, Blood glucose monitoring, Foley catheter insertion / maintenance
Is on-call REQ? (Y/N) No
Will clinician float within scope to meet facility needs? Within service line to all BH units
Open to accommodating block schedule? (Y/N) No
Locals accepted: (Y/N) No
Pending License accepted: (Y/N) Yes
RTO Restrictions: No more than 7 days
Guaranteed Hours: 3 shifts per 13 weeks. The cancelled shifts must be the regular shift length to which the Contractor Personnel is assigned
Special Requirements: Epic, medical, and Psych experience required
Adult Psychiatric population and geriatric (18 years or older), some patients with co-morbid medical conditions that require med-surg approach.
When floating to other BH units-
Patient is older adult and adult population, some patients with medical co-morbidities and mobility issues. Some diagnoses include dementia, depression, Parkinson's Disease, bipolar disorder, or anxiety.
Some patients require pre-op prep for ECT
IV start
Presence in Milieu
Restraint application
Will work as charge as needed
