Length : 13 weeks
Requirements:KY License2 years of acute care RN experienceNorton work history Docusign RequiredDiploma or AssociateNeed to know how to read tele stripsNeed to be able to titrate medicationBLSNIHRequired Skills
• IV insertion
• Blood draws
• PICC/Central Line management:
• Trach Care
• Traction
• CPM
• Epidural/PCA pump
• Feeding tubes
• Continuous bladder irrigation
• Wound vac
• Other skills needed?: managing heparin drips, ambulating new post op patients, Foley catheter insertion, NG tube placement
Other Details:
Top diagnosis/procedures: Bladder resections, colon resections, cysto with TURPS, transmetatarsal amputationsCommon equipment used: IV pumps, rolling walkers, gait beltsDoes RN need to be able to titrate medication? yesCommon medications given: IV ABX, pain meds, htn meds, blood thinnersEPIC ChartingWilling to FloatEpic Travel Staffing:
