Travel RN -
Labor & Delivery - MS Float 48's
Shift:
Nights / 6:45p-7:15a, 12x4, 48 hrs per week, will also consider 36 hrs, on-call as needed
Length:
13 weeks
Weekend Rotation : Every other, up to 3rd weekend , Holiday RotationFacility will attempt to schedule 3 shifts in a row but flexibility is requiredTravelers have the option of trading shifts with others if necessary
Requirements:MN licenseMinimum 2+ years of L&D/Mother Baby required1+ years Med/Surg experience requiredBSN or ADN education requiredAHA BLSNRPAWHONN/Fetal Hearth Monitoring requiredTravel experience preferredAHA ACLS preferredEMR - CernerOther details:50 mile radius ruleDesired Specific Skillset for an ideal candidate: OB triage experience, antepartum, intra-partum and post partum care. Newborn cares for level 1 nursery. Skills r/t oxygen or IV therapy for the newborn as wellFloat : Will be required to float to medical/surgical patients if low census on labor and delivery (once a week/average). Patient ratio 1:3-4. Mix of ages.Unit Overview: 5 LDRP with nursery- most newborns room in with Mom, 250 deliveries/year, 2 experienced L&D RN's per shift, C-Section's are performed in the OR with the OR crew in attendance. The RN will attend the C-section to attend to the babyCurrent Patient Ratio: 1:1 in active labor, 1:2-3 couplets.Scrub Color Required: no specific color requiredEpic Travel Staffing:
