Travel RN - Labor & Delivery
Shift:
Nights / 6p-6a, 12x3, 36hrs per week
Length:
13 weeks
Weekend Requirement: 3 weekend shifts per 4 week schedule minimum
Call: one shift per 4 week schedule
Requirements:AZ RN License3+ years of experience requiredC-section experience requiredMust be proficient in fetal monitoring and the actions taken for fetal distressMust be able to care for patients with pre-eclampsiaClinical background in high risk patients. Since there is NOT an in-house OB, so the nurses need to be very proficient with their assessment skills and be able to handle OB emergencies until the provider arrivesMust be able to function in L&D and couplet care (they don't always utilize their LDRPs as couplet care beds, but can do so if census is low)BLSACLSNRPIntermediate or advanced Fetal Monitoring requiredOther details:
Charting System: Allscripts - SunriseMay float to ED or MS if experienced# of beds: 7 L&D beds, 2 Triage beds, 10 Postpartum beds, 1-3 births per day, 830 births per yearRatios typically 1:2Support staff on unit: OB scrub tech, HUCEpic Travel Staffing:
