Travel RN - ICU/MSICU
Shift:
Nights / 6:30p-7a, 12x3, 36hrs per week (will accept 48 upon request), EOH
Length:
13 weeks
Weekend/Holiday Requirement: 3 weekends out of every 6 week schedule
Requirements:IN /compact licenseMinimum 3 years of RN experience1 full year of ICU/Critical Care experienceTele/12-lead EKG interpretation (travelers are required to pass a tele test), ETT/Vent management (RT available), Initiate/titrate drips (sedatives, paralytics, pressor, antiarrhythmics1 travel assignmentTrauma level II experienceAHA BLSAHA ACLSNIHSSPost code TTM, CRRT, massive transfusion (Belmont) preferredRecent Epic charting experienceOther details:
Float requiredPatient Population: Sepsis, pressors, large abdominal surgeries, respiratory distress, AKI/renal failure. Not cardiac heavy, no neuro/CVA.Unit Information: 13 beds; can flex up to 17, typical census is 14-15 beds. Ratio: Days 1:2-3; NOCs 1:2-3 (third patient often waiting for transfer) CN takes at least one patient on each shift. All shifts have CNA support.Covid-19 Vaccine Not Required - Subject to changeNo local candidates (40 mile radius rule)Scrub Colors: Navy blue scrubsEpic Travel Staffing:

Intensive care unit travel nurse jobs, otherwise known as critical care unit (CCU) travel nurse jobs, specialize in providing care to the most acutely ill patients in the hospital. An ICU travel nurse might work in ICU burn unit, abdominal transplant acute care, neuro ICU, post-op, surgical ICU (SICU), trauma ICU or cardiovascular ICU (CVICU). Critical care nurses may also care for age-specific patients in the pediatric ICU (PICU) or neonatal ICU (NICU). Aside from clinical care such as skills with ventilators and tracheostomy tubes, travel ICU nurse jobs need a RN who can deliver progress updates and support to patients and/or their family.
