Job Purpose and Overview As a Shipper/Receiver you will participate in the distribution warehouse activities related to receiving, storing, selecting, shipping, dispatching, and delivery of products to ensure effective and efficient warehouse operations and product transportation. What Does It Take to be a Shipper/Receiver at Dawn Foods? Below are the minimum qualifications to be a fit for this job. Ability to operate a forklift, pallet jack, electric rider jacks, electric pallet jacks, trailer lift gates and pallet wrap machines Minimum 6 months of related experience or 1 full year non-related employment experience Must be able to lift 50+ pound repeatedly Ability to stand and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Ability to withstand cool and/or cold temperatures Available to work overtime as required What will you do as a Shipper/Receiverat Dawn Foods? Correctly select, palletize, and shrink wrap customers' orders preparing them for delivery. Receive and stock inbound product in its designated locations. Rotate and replenish current stock in its designated locations. Safely load trailers in an even and productive fashion Ability to understand and operate handheld computer and scanning devices for SAP that is used for all aspects of warehouse operations Maintain cleanliness of entire warehouse and practice safe food handling procedures by learning and practicing American Institute of Baking (AIB) standards for warehouse sanitation Perform other related duties incidental to work described herein Support the Circle of Excellence and the Dawn Philosophy of Team Dawn Physical Demands & Work Environment The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by a Team Member to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
