Halff has an opening for a Senior Roadway Engineer / Senior Design Engineer, with an Arkansas PE License, to be a Senior Project Manager with our growing Northwest Arkansas Transportation Practice. The candidate will office our of our Bentonville, AR or Fayetteville, AR office location. The ideal candidate will bring Municipal and DOT roadway design experience. This role will allow you the opportunity to gain ever increasing professional responsibility. Senior Project Manager (PE) - DOT Roadway / Transportation Responsibilities:Works under a Team Leader in leading the development and delivery of roadway design projectsLeads delivery of transportation design projects for ARDOT and municipalitiesManages multiple transportation tasks or projects in support of business needsManages subconsultants and the workload of design staff including Engineers, EIT's, and technical staffDevelops and manages project scopes, budgets, and schedulesReviews transportation deliverables for accuracy and consistencyReports on project progress and budgetsCollaborates with clients and other consultantsAssists with business development activities
Senior Project Manager (PE) - DOT Roadway / Transportation Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in Civil Engineering or ABET accredited equivalent Engineering degreeMust have a minimum of 8 years of experience in public works or roadway / transportation project deliveryProfessional Engineer (PE) License required (Arkansas preferred)Ability to lead a project and supervise technical staffClient interaction and development along with project productionStrong communication skills, both written and verbalThe candidate should have a positive attitude, be self-directed yet a team player and a person of high character with a focus on quality, integrity and successMunicipal and DOT roadway design experience preferredAbility to communicate effectively with staff and clientsWorking knowledge of MicroStation, Inroads and OpenRoads preferred
