Are you a change-maker with deep experience architecting strategic B2B event plans and activating both virtual and in-person customer experiences to fuel business demand? Do you have proven success leading teams to deliver impactful, multifaceted experiences and programming during major advertising industry moments (e.g. Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity, CES, etc.)? We’re looking for a results-driven senior-level marketer to lead our B2B experiential marketing team and own the comprehensive events program for Apple’s advertising business. As part of the Worldwide Commercial Marketing leadership team and the trusted subject matter expert on AdTech events, the Experiential Marketing Events Lead will be responsible for evolving our long-term events strategy to support our business objectives and accelerate growth.
The Experiential Marketing Events Lead will play a pivotal role in demonstrating the value of Apple advertising through immersive, engaging, and memorable event experiences that foster and deepen strategic customer relationships, help us tell our story, facilitate community building and learning opportunities, and drive sales momentum with brand and performance marketing decision makers. This person will develop and manage a multi-year event roadmap, oversee high-quality delivery of events around the world, and effectively collaborate across extended marketing and sales teams to continually improve our experiences.
Day-to-day responsibilities may include:
Managing a small team of event marketing specialists
Developing and implementing well-informed and effective strategies and plans based on business needs
Spotting and evaluating industry trends and market insights to inform event direction
Exploring new event formats and technologies to better engage audiences
Determining event goals and objectives in consultation with cross-functional business partners
Writing clear and insightful briefs to inform and inspire creative teams
Evaluating and reporting on marketing event impact
Effectively managing budget and resource allocation
Sharing clear updates and adapting communications for different internal audiences
Building relationships with key event stakeholders, strategic partners, and suppliers
Strong attention to detail, effective project management, focus on continuous improvement, and a pulse on the real-time event landscape will be necessary for success in this role. Minimum Qualifications
12+ years experience, with increasing responsibilities, as an events marketing professional
Proven success managing a team of B2B marketing event managers
Track record of building strong working relationships with event production agencies and creative teams
Experience with and deep understanding of the ad tech landscape and related industry events
Key Qualifications
Self-starter who consistently delivers excellent work
Experience working in a geographically distributed team
Manages multiple projects, priorities, and overlapping deadlines effectively and with ease
Possess an unquestionable personal code of ethics and integrity
Extraordinary written and verbal communication
