About the RoleThe Sales Executive in our Tax & Accounting Professionals Tax Workflow segment is responsible for retaining and growing their existing account base and acquiring new accounts within their geographic area of responsibility. The Sales Executive position is a virtual role, requiring excellent telephone and writing skills. The successful Sales Executive draws on their high level of initiative and ability to apply strong business acumen to conduct a thorough needs analysis within their accounts. A successful Sales Executive has the ability to develop trust, demonstrate their credibility with all account stakeholders through their knowledge of Thomson Reuters' products, and services and acquired knowledge of the tax and accounting industry. The Sales Executive tailors their client presentations to the unique needs of the individual account and articulates their proposals through ROI justification to shorten the sales cycle.Prospect new customers and close sales for an assigned geography and/or for leads assigned as part of a pooled resource group.Demonstrate the use of Tax & Accounting products to the customer.Validate customer needs, shape product plans and drive deals to close. Support in developing and executing territory growth strategies.Focus on new logo acquisition and mid-contract upsell/cross-sell opportunities.Possess core knowledge across products within the subsegment, and engage Sales Specialists where deep product expertise is required to drive to close.Understand specific customer archetypes and needs which are most prevalent within the subsegment and territory.Use an automated and insight-driven Salesforce workflow to progress deals.KPIs include: Nurturing opportunities and moving more complex sales to close i.e. New logo sales & Existing 'non' named' account incremental sales.Work with internal resources to lead, advance and close sales cycles.Positively contribute to the company culture and add to the team dynamic.About YouMinimum 3 years of successful sales experience in an Account Executive role with proven/consistent track record of quota attainment.Software as a Service Sales (SAAS) experience a plus.Working knowledge of sales concepts, methods and techniques.Excellent communication skills & presentation skills to maximize phone and virtual client meetings/presentations.Strong prospecting and closing skills.Ability to win new customers as well as cross sell/upsell existing customers.Strong time management and organization skills.Ambitious self-starter with high energy and motivation.Highly proficient in MS Office suite, utilizing a CRM (such as Salesforce preferred) and overall technical aptitude.Continuous learner, flexible and open-minded, positive attitude.High level of integrity and understanding of sales ethic.What’s in it For You?Culture:
