Apple’s foundational technologies help developers build, grow, and scale apps and app marketplaces — including programming languages and development tools that make it easy to build apps for Apple’s ecosystem, specialized software development kits with over 250,000 APIs, beta testing services and feedback programs, distribution via marketplaces and web, and so much more.DescriptionYou are someone who is flexible and can respond quickly to change. The environment is dynamic, requiring you to work autonomously and lead aggressive delivery schedules. You should have strong problem solving skills, as well as a real passion for improving processes and tools. The right mix of technical, organizational, and communication skills is the key to success. Attention to detail, working through ambiguity, and a solid ability to prioritize are critical.You should be able to lead and implement complex, high-profile projects working with cross-functional teams such as Legal, Product Marketing, Government Affairs, Finance, PR, Engineering, and Analytics. This position will identify key resources, prepare and maintain appropriate documentation, communicate project statuses, identify and mitigate risks, and oversee deadlines. You will also be expected to lead multiple work streams to ensure cross-functional partners are aligned and informed. In addition, you will be required to navigate competing priorities, allocate resources appropriately and mitigate associated challenges. You will be asked to eliminate time-sensitive bottlenecks and efficiently meet deadlines. You will also create work back schedules and brief senior executives on overall timelines and manage day-to-day critical issues while troubleshooting challenges.Minimum Qualifications10+ years of leading a portfolio of projects and programsPreferred QualificationsSuccessful track record of leading strategic projects combined with the ability to complete at tactical project level activities and tasks (e.g. creating work back schedules, dependency tracking, and creating structure in ambiguity)Experience engaging effectively with high-level executives and collaboratorsThe ability to manage resources effectively, balancing priorities to optimize outcomesA keen eye for identifying risks and issues that may negatively impact project deliveryExceptional interpersonal skills; proven track record of successfully working cross-functionally to achieve goalsThe ability to navigate ambiguity in a high-stakes, fast-moving environment with efficiency, discretion, integrity, and confidentialityFamiliarity with the mobile app landscapeExperience planning, managing, and delivering multiple projectsExtraordinary communication and time-management skills with a demonstrated ability to work independently, as well as, in a team environmentResults oriented, energetic and focused with a strong desire to learn and succeedYou will have leadership experience, top-notch interpersonal skills, a “can-do” work ethic, a strong ability to self-motivate and the ability to connect with employees at all levelsFlexibility, Resourcefulness, and attention to detailBachelor’s degree, MBA or Post-Graduate is a plus but not requiredProject Management Certification is also a plus but not requiredAt Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $143,900 and $269,100, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple’s Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
