Description

MPLC are a copyright licensing agency based in Eastbourne within the non-theatrical film market. Founded in the US over 30 years ago and now well established across Europe. We offer copyright compliance to many market sectors.This Copywriter role involves creating and executing engaging sales and marketing content for the US market as part of our Global Marketing Team. The ideal candidate is a creative writer with a passion for the entertainment industry, able to collaborate closely with both our global marketing and US sales teams.This is a temporary position which will last for 3 months. We're open to someone based anywhere in the US as this is a fully remote role.

Key Responsibilities

Content Creation and Management:Write compelling copy for marketing and sales materials (DM, Emails) and case studies.Develop and manage content for the MPLC blog.Use SEO best practice to generate content ideas and posts.Collaborate with external designers to produce visually appealing content.Use analytics tools to track and monitor performance.Social Media Management:Create and execute social media posts to increase brand awareness and engagement.Support of Internal Brand and Communications Marketing hub:Support organization of centralised Brand and Communications hub.Collating centralised best practice content initiatives to be shared globally.Brand and Communications:Ensure brand consistency and align content pieces with MPLC Tone of voice and brand book.Collaboration and Communication:Work closely with marketing and sales teams to align content strategies with business goals.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.3+ years of experience in copywriting, content creation, or a similar role.Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills.Familiarity with SEO best practices, content management systems and digital marketing tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Salesforce).Excellent organizational and project management skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Passion for the entertainment industry and knowledge of motion picture licensing is a plus.
