Job Title: Design Engineer
Job Description
We are seeking a Distribution Planner to support our growing portfolio of distribution work. This role involves conducting design, implementation, and technical analysis of various systems. You will work closely with Tier 1 Utilities and contribute to new phases of significant projects.
Responsibilities
Conduct design, implementation, and technical analysis of various systems.
Support distribution projects for major utilities.
Collaborate with team members in a fast-paced environment.
Communicate effectively with various audiences.
Essential Skills
Minimum 2 years of design experience within electrical-design oriented software (AutoCAD) OR entry level EE graduate.
Experience in electrical design, utility design, substation design, protection and control, and physical substation design.
Background in CAD or GIS.
Strong knowledge of utility engineering and power distribution.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
1-2 years of experience in the engineering space, including civil, structural, distribution physical substation, or electrical utility design, OR Bachelors in Electrical Engineering.
Work Environment
This position offers a remote work environment, with one day in office in Hopedale, MA.
