Job SummaryWe are seeking a Senior Commissioning Consultant to join our growing Team at Introba. The Senior Commissioning Consultant will be responsible for being an active member of design and construction teams to provide quality control for clients by ensuring that equipment and systems in a building are installed properly and function energy efficiently.
Responsibilities
Manages the commissioning process for multiple projects, including leading the commissioning team, interfacing with the client, and setting the project schedules and budgets.
Defines scope of work and project requirements for practice team to follow.
Lead coordination of commissioning tasks with project team.
Conducts field observations and performs functional testing of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and controls systems.
Performs analysis of building energy usage and performance.
Troubleshoots non-compliant systems and assists with the implementation of a solution.
Develop comprehensive reports for client stakeholders that documents the commissioning process through all phases of construction.
Performs retro commissioning and energy services as needed.
Assists with training and mentoring of commissioning engineers.
Develop and improve commissioning process standards for the practice.
Maintain effective relationships with existing clients, new clients, and contractors to further develop business for the company.
Participate in the pursuit of additional projects.
Actively engage in further education for self-professional development.
Qualifications
Commissioning Authority certification from an accredited organization.
Professional Engineering license preferred.
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Architectural Engineering or Bachelor's Degree in Architecture from an accredited program.
Minimum combined 8 years' experience in at least two of the following: facility design, construction, operation, or related field.
Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams.
