Position Summary
Reporting to the Senior Vice President Finance North America, the Finance Director will play a vital role in accurate financial reporting, consolidation, and supporting strategic decision making within ofi.
Position Responsibilities
Financial Reporting and Consolidation:
Responsible for all corporate controller activities including P&L, balance sheetConsolidate financial data from various business units
Financial Planning, Reporting, and Analysis:
Managing Budgets vs. actualsDevelop and analyze annual budgets, identifying variances and recommending adjustments.Conduct forecasting to guide financial decisions.Prepare comprehensive reports on plant and product performance.
Collaboration and Support:
Partner to align financial strategies with business goal and provide financial insights to drive operational efficiency.
Month-End Closing:
Lead month-end closing activities, ensuring timely and accurate financial statements.
Risk and Compliance:
Monitor financial risks and compliance with regulations.Implement internal controls to mitigate risks.
Banking Relationships:
Managing relationships with banks including supplier financing, loans management.
Audit Activities:
Coordinate internal and external audits.Address audit findings and implement corrective actions.
Responsible for Accounts Payable:
Manage AP/AR team.
Lead acquisition from accounting perspective and onboarding new entities.Intercompany transaction and processes.Additional duties as assigned.
Position Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance or directly related field is required. CPA preferred or MBA is preferred.Ten (10) years of experience in accounting and finance required. Experience in Manufacturing industries preferred.Strong working knowledge of IFRS and GAAP required.Strong organizational and planning skills and the ability to work effectively in a matrix organization required.Advanced knowledge of Excel is required.Collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively within diverse teams.Insurance and treasury experience preferred.Strong written and verbal communication skills required.Experience with SAP preferred.
