As a Product Manager in the Omnichannel Solutions Group, you are an integral part of the team that innovates new product offerings and leads the end-to-end product life cycle. You are responsible for acting as the voice of the customer and developing profitable products that provide customer value. Utilizing your deep understanding of how to get a product off the ground, you guide the successful launch of products, gather crucial feedback, and ensure top-tier client experiences. With a strong commitment to scalability, resiliency, and stability, you collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products that exceed customer expectations.
The Omnichannel Solutions Group is tasked with uniting all the best of class components in the Merchant Services group and bringing to market a single solution to wow our clients. In this role, you will help to drive the expansion of our payment rail capabilities and all that it takes to make those available in a seamless and consistent manner. You are responsible for acting as the voice of the customer by understanding their needs and communicating feedback to the greater Product team.
Job Responsibilities
Develops a product strategy and product vision that delivers value to customers.
Manages discovery efforts and market research to uncover customer solutions and integrate them into the product roadmap.
Owns, maintains, and develops a product backlog that enables development to support the overall strategic roadmap and value proposition.
Builds the framework and tracks the product's key success metrics such as cost, feature and functionality, risk posture, and reliability.
Works closely with other product owners to ensure concise requirements are known and documented.
Leads solutioning and the adoption of existing and upcoming client-facing products and capabilities while defining and configuring optimal solutions that address clients' needs and objectives.
Serves as a subject matter expert on a defined set of products and capabilities with a deep understanding of our clients' needs and current industry trends.
Engages with client teams to better understand pain points and refine solutions while regularly communicating critical client feedback to Product teams to inform the strategic product roadmap.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
5+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in product management or a relevant domain area.
Advanced knowledge of the product development life cycle, design, and data analytics.
Proven ability to lead product life cycle activities including discovery, ideation, strategic development, requirements definition, and value management.
Extensive experience leading Client Discovery on a regular basis.
Experience modifying preconfigured solutions to meet complex problems.
Previous experience with physical & digital merchant payments.
Previous experience working with payment gateways.
Ability to provide thought leadership with regards to Omni Channel payments.
Previous experience engaging directly with Merchants.
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
Demonstrated prior experience working in a highly matrixed, complex organization.
Ability to grow payment initiatives from ideation to customer implementation.
Previous experience in managing Gift/Stored Value and Private Label card integrations.
Previous experience working with Local Payment Methods and Alternative Payment Methods.
