Alameda is revolutionizing control plane development across AWS, providing a centralized platform that automates the creation and maintenance of both control plane and data plane infrastructure for new managed services.Key Job Responsibilities:Solving challenging problems in distributed systems, secure multi-tenancy, concurrency, scale, availability, durability, and performance engineering.Working closely with world-class technical talent and Principal Engineers to own and develop strategy, designs, and implementation of substantial areas of Control Plane development.Translating user requirements, helping define roadmap, designing, developing, deploying, and testing end-to-end solutions.Playing the role of technical leader of a team and contributing to the professional development of colleagues.Understanding the business impacts of technical decisions and guiding technology choices to create amazing experiences for customers.Working closely with leaders in the organization to ensure your solution’s contract and functionality aligns with broader objectives.Minimum Requirements:5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language experience.5+ years of leading design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience.Experience as a mentor, tech lead, or leading an engineering team.5+ years of full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.Amazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace.
