You must demonstrate networking and security protocol knowledge to ensure safe and scalable environment provisioning while protecting accessibility to data assets. You will develop infrastructure as code using scripts, templates, blueprints, workflows, CI/CD orchestration tools, and other automation technologies. Continuous collaboration with architects and engineering teams is key to ensuring deployed services meet the highest levels of scalability, reliability, and performance while balancing security and operational excellence.Job Description / Responsibilities
Develop, deploy, monitor, and maintain the cloud infrastructure, primarily AzureWork closely with Application Architects, Leads, and Cloud Infrastructure Architects to build infrastructure for applicationsParticipate in AGILE Process to ensure infrastructure is ready for software engineersEnsure cloud-based applications run efficiently, securely, and reliablyCollaborate with the FedEx Reliability team for monitoring and alertingManage performance, cost optimization, and scalability of the infrastructureEnsure non-prod environments are available for development and testingProvide guidance to Leads and Engineers with solutions to problemsRespond to cloud service outages, identify, and fix root causesAutomate cloud operations to streamline deployment and scalingCollaborate with DevOps and development teams to support CICD pipelinesDevelop and maintain documentation on cloud infrastructureOptimize cloud costs and implement scaling strategiesImplement security policies for cloud environmentsSkills / Abilities
Strong oral and written communication skillsAzure cloud platform experienceUnderstanding of the OSI Network ModelInfrastructure as Code experienceAutomation and scripting in Powershell and BashDevOps and CICD pipelines experienceKubernetes experienceExperience in completing complex projectsMinimum Education
Bachelor's Degree in computer science, engineering, or information systems, or equivalent work experience.Minimum Experience
Three to four (3-4) years’ experience in cloud engineering or related field.Domicile Information:
This position can be domiciled anywhere in the United States.Preferred Qualifications:

This compensation range is provided as a reasonable estimate of the current starting salary range for this role across all potential locations.Pay:
U.S. Annual Pay Range: $104,960 to $157,440Additional Details:
