Job ID: 2832345 | Amazon Web Services, Inc.AWS Fintech team is looking for a highly motivated Senior Product Manager to partner with our software development teams in building out financial systems for the global AWS business. The success of these systems will be instrumental to AWS’ ability to scale finance capabilities for a fast growing and increasingly complex global organization.This position will play an integral role in ensuring the systems are accurate and support the right financial and business analysis for the global finance organization. This role will support and enable the development and automation of complex reporting and analysis that delivers the right information to multiple layers of the AWS organization. This role will work directly on the organizations Data Strategy and define/lead efforts for our Data Platform.This position requires a proactive, highly motivated individual with an aptitude for customer focus and critical thinking and who can initiate and manage strategic system development around the globe. This person will be expected to take ownership and drive positive change. The successful candidate will be a self-starter who is comfortable with ambiguity, is analytical, detail oriented and possesses the ability to work well with cross-functional teams including world-wide AWS, finance, and software development teams.Key Job Responsibilities
Developing and driving product vision and strategy in alignment with the AWS Finance technology visionLeading our data platform strategy by defining and executing on foundational components across ETL orchestration, governance, access controls, insights and analytics, OLAP, etc.Ensuring that standardization, automation, scalability, and agility are components of the systems and toolsIdentifying business and technical requirements, including customer experience improvements, and prioritizing requests for software development teamsProviding analytical support, including prototypes and proofs of concept, for AWS software development teamsManaging Fintech products throughout the product life cycleBASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degreeExperience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definitionExperience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a productExperience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a productExperience managing technical products or online servicesExperience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planningPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
