As a global company, we have offices in nine countries and can insert advertisements around the world.Job SummaryJob DescriptionDUTIES:Provide technical leadership in designing and developing new software and web applications using C++ in Linux environment.Design database tables using SQL.Work with distributed systems, high-performance computing, and cloud computing technologies.Develop backend software for the MRM AdServer platform.Work with programmatic advertising features including real-time bidding and algorithmic decision making, and integrate them with demand side platforms (DSP) and supply side platforms (SSP).Respond to real-time production Adserver P2+ Escalation tickets.Troubleshoot and debug software issues.Support applications under development and customize current applications.Assist with the software update process for existing applications, and roll-outs of software releases.Analyze, test, and assist with the integration of new applications.Document all development activity.Research, write, and edit documentation and technical requirements, including software designs, evaluation plans, test results, technical manuals, and formal recommendations and reports.Monitor and evaluate competitive applications and products.Review literature, patents, and current practices relevant to the solution of assigned projects.Collaborate with project stakeholders to identify product and technical requirements.Conduct analysis to determine integration needs.Collaborate with Engineers in the UTC+8 time zone.Guide and mentor junior-level engineers.REQUIREMENTS:Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field, and seven (7) years of experience designing database tables using SQL; developing software using C++ in a Linux environment; and working with distributed systems and high-performance computing; of which five (5) years include developing backend software for advertising platforms; and working with programmatic advertising features including real-time bidding and algorithmic decision making, and integrating them with demand side platforms (DSP) and supply side platforms (SSP).SALARY:
