Positions are available for mechanical engineers with 5 years of experience in fueling systems or other related industrial type systems.A successful candidate would be experienced in design and construction in one or more of the following industries: Commercial or Military Fuel Systems, Oil & Gas, Water/Wastewater, or Industrial Systems.Experience in the following areas would be of high value:Airport fuel receipt, storage, and distribution facilitiesJet fuel hydrant distribution systemsPipeline and transport truck fuel receipt systemsJet fuel storage tanksInto-hydrant pumping and filtration systemsRefueler truck loading positionsAircraft hydrant fuel systemsOil water separation systemsSingle and double-wall fuel pipingFamiliarity with relevant industry standards including ATA 103, API 610, API 650, API 653, ASME B31.3, ASME B31.4, NFPA 30, and NFPA 11Piping system hydraulic modelingPiping system stress analysisQualificationsBachelor's degree required in mechanical engineering from an accredited program.Minimum 5 years related experience.Professional Engineer (P.E.) is required with experience working for other consulting firms and/or construction contractors.Successful candidate will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.This position requires an individual capable of applying intensive and diversified knowledge of principles and practices to broad areas of assignments.Knowledge in standard mechanical engineering techniques, principles, and procedures.Strong attention to detail, facilitation, team building, collaboration, organization, and problem-solving skills.Provide leadership, guidance, and instruction to less experienced staff members.Regularly meet and correspond with clients or outside personnel.Candidate should be capable of assisting clients with planning facility improvements for mechanical aspects of projects. Must also possess the ability to determine project scope, schedule, and budget.Compensation$135,000.00-185,000.00 AnnuallyThe expected compensation range for this position is displayed in compliance with all local/state regulations. The expected compensation range for this position is based on a number of factors, including but not limited to: individual education, qualifications, prior work experience and work location.
