RUSHKids

is seeking a pediatric Speech Language Pathologist to join our fun, collaborative multi-disciplinary team in Lake Barrington, ILWe evaluate and treat a variety of pediatric patients with diagnoses ranging from developmental delay, cerebral palsy, genetic disorders, autism spectrum disorders, sensory processing, feeding disorders, speech and language delays, childhood apraxia of speech, articulation, and phonological disorders. Our SLP’s have opportunities to participate in internal and external continuing education and collaborate with colleagues across our 12 centers in the Chicagoland area.

This position offers strong mentorship in all areas of pediatric speech language pathology, including feeding therapy, AAC, and more. New graduates seeking to complete their CFY are welcome to apply

Responsibilities

Evaluate assigned patients and establish appropriate treatment goals and treatment programs

Provides ongoing evaluation of patient’s status and goals

Develops comprehensive goals for patient treatment to maximize outcomes

Coordinates treatment program in conjunction with other clinical/therapeutic services

Attends appropriate clinical meetings to facilitate coordination

To provide quality patient care while maintaining a positive level of interaction with facilities and clients

Qualifications

Meet American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA) minimum standards for initiation Clinical Fellowship Year including but not limited to 36 credit hours in prescribed study.

State licensure/registration where appropriate.ASHA certification is required.

300 hours in prescribed clinical practicum experience required.
