Lockheed Martin Aeronautics is seeking a full
time Early Career Software Engineer. In this role,
you will participate in all phases of the System
Software lifecycle from supporting initial System
Design concepts, software requirements
development, design, implementation,
integration and test. The successful candidate
will have experience and/or knowledge of the
C++ programming language, object oriented
design, and familiarity with Unix or Linux.
Must be a U.S. Citizen; this position will require a
government security clearance. This position is
located at a facility that requires special access.
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer
Science or Computer Engineering.
• Coursework in Software Engineering
• Proficient in C++
• Familiar with Linux Operating System
Must be a U.S. Citizen; this position will require a
government security clearance. This position is

Desired Skills:
• Real-Time Embedded Software
• Application Level Development
• Agile Software Development Methodology
• Object Oriented Design / Unified Modeling
Language (OOA/UML) and Atlassian Tool Suite

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
