Join us.We are currently seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer in support for Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Crane. Code GXT provides onsite systems integration technical support, model-based systems engineering, engineering design, and life cycle support for Strategic System Programs (SSP), Office of the Undersecretary of Defense/Defense Standardization Program Office (OSD/DSPO), Office of the Secretary of Defense Research and Engineering (OSD R&E), and Other Government Agencies (OGA). This position will manage the development cycle associated with producing resilient software, hardware and web applications including specification, design, coding, testing and maintenance.Responsibilities
Provide Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) support for Strategic Systems Programs (SSP) Development and Acquisition projects, including deployed systems and sub-programs such as:D5 Life Extension Program (D5LE2) acquisition programW93/MK7 programDeliver Systems Engineering (SE) support in the following areas:Data and Information ManagementRisk and Opportunity ManagementSystem Requirements Traceability and VerificationSystem-Level Testing and VerificationSystem-Level SimulationIntegrated Verification Model DevelopmentSystem-Level Interface ManagementDevelopment and maintenance of Descriptive Systems Models and the Integrated Verification ModelUse the Systems Modeling Language (SysML), adhering to SSP Modeling Standards and Guidelines and the SSP Ontology Profile for all Descriptive Models.Ensure all system-level simulations follow the Integrated Modeling and Simulation Standards and Guidelines.Qualifications
