Director, Fleet Operations

Figure is an AI Robotics company developing a general purpose humanoid. Our Humanoid is designed for corporate tasks targeting labor shortages and jobs that are undesirable or unsafe. We are based in Sunnyvale, CA and require 5 days/week in-office collaboration.

This role will require frequent travel to customer sites.The Director of Fleet Operations will be responsible for planning, leading, and executing the company’s robot deployment & operations across all customers. This includes designing and executing strategies to support new market expansion, robot commercial operations, meeting customer expectations, robot software validation, and overall making sure we have enough useful robots in the physical world.Responsibilities:Oversee the operational planning, execution, and optimization of Figure’s humanoid operations across all commercial customersEnsure Figure has enough robots in the market at customer sites, set up maintenance and checkout programs, fleet management, fleet response, logistics and supplies, and training programs for new hiresEnsure the right number of robots deployed, at the right time to meet demand, and at the right cost to meet Figure’s business objectivesLead on-site data collection efforts which involves collecting and analyzing data from our fleet of autonomous robots to improve our software and hardware performanceEnsure that we meet and exceed customer performance expectations, safety requirements, and profitability targetsBuild and execute a platform to deploy into new use cases and new marketsRequirements:Ability to hire and scale a teamMinimum of 5 years of fleet operational experienceExperience with transitioning products from design, pilot, to commercializationWillingness to travel frequently to customer sitesStrong knowledge of fleet management and optimizationBonus Qualifications:Experience with deployment of robotic systemsMilitary experienceApply for this job#J-18808-Ljbffr
