Position SummaryMAG Aerospace is hiring for a

Senior Computer Network Architect with current TOP SECRET clearance for Webster Out Lying Field (WOLF).

This position will manage and support a high level NAWCAD program, with the Senior Computer Network Architect responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining complex computer systems and networks. This role requires extensive technical knowledge as well as strong project management and communication skills.

Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesDuties include, but not limited to:

Work with a team of engineers and other technical professionals to design and integrate hardware, software, and networking components to create a functional and secure system.

Identify computer issues and troubleshoot them to find solutions, update or fix operating systems and applications.

Evaluate and integrate new technologies into existing systems

Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications

Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless IT operations

Oversee the implementation of system architectures

Troubleshoot and resolve system performance issues

Ensure system security and compliance with regulatory requirements

Develop and maintain technical documentation

Train and mentor junior IT staff

Manage system lifecycle from conception to deployment and maintenance

RequirementsExperience

Ten (10) years of recent and relevant experience within Navy and other DoD organizations in Computer System architecture design, development, integration test and fielding.

Education

Masters Degree in computer science or IT discipline preferred

Bachelor's Degree is accepted with an additional 4 years of experience

(bringing the above to at least 14 years of experience)

Desired Requirements

Hands on experience with SOF C5ISR computer architecture systems to include military communications, intelligence and reconnaissance RF systems.

The projected compensation range for this position is $150,000.00 to $180,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of MAG's total compensation package for employees.
