Sr Advisor: Financial Planning and AnalysisTransUnion Africa is currently recruiting for a dynamic and figures-oriented individual to be responsible for consolidating & directing certain aspects of the Group Financial Planning and Analysis function to achieve all planning, forecasting, and managerial objectives of the TU Africa Group of Companies. Reporting to the Director – Financial Planning and Analysis, this goal-oriented, driven, and innovative individual will navigate a multicultural and highly competitive environment while partnering with a number of internal and external customers such as the CFO, the Head of Strategy, group holding companies (Chicago, Corporate and International), the TU Finance team (local and US), and the TU Executive team; to ensure that the Financial Planning and Analysis is managed in a way that exceeds expectations.

How You’ll Contribute:

Responsible for consolidating input from the team, ensuring accurate information is shared and presented and mentoring/coaching the team to deliver exceptional results.

Working with the FP&A director to drive continuous improvement that enables the FP&A function to be operating at best practice levels.

Ability to problem solve when faced with ad-hoc requests for information.

Input into driving margin expansion and revenue growth in the business.

Motivating the team to deliver exceptional results during pressurized periods and assisting the team with prioritizing deliverables.

Responsible for directing certain aspects of the Business function to achieve all planning, forecasting and managerial reporting objectives of the TransUnion Group.

Develop analysis based on metrics to evaluate financial and operational performance for the enterprise-wide cross-functional projects and initiatives.

Responsible for ensuring systems are in place and established to enforce best practice business planning across the Group.

Identification and investigation of potential inefficiencies and risks encountered by the business based on financial and operational performance metrics.

Partner in leading the executive management team through all forecasting and budgeting exercises.

Analysis of financial and operational information to identify trends and interpret trends for senior management.

Partner in the development and implementation of the annual operating budget and resource plan.

Analysis of historical and forecasted business segment results including a review of major trends within each segment in terms of revenue, major cost categories and profitability.

Coordination with all levels of management and staff to gather, analyze, summarize and prepare recommendations regarding financial plans and business planning.

Coordination of monthly reports and forecasting for the Group that is: Expected, Flash, Walks.

Responsible for co-coordinating reports required by TU International.

Ensure all people practices are performed according to company policy and procedure and HR guidelines.

Impact You'll Make:

We are looking for 6-8 years’ experience within a large multinational commercial organization (preferably CA(SA)). A proven track record of change implementation and process improvement is essential to the role along with a willingness and ability to work in an unstructured environment with fluid change processes. Prior FP&A experience and advanced PowerPoint skills would be an advantage.
