Reporting to the General Counsel, the attorney will be responsible for supporting the equity investments and real estate development transactions of the investment company and its affiliates. This role will be responsible for managing acquisitions, joint ventures, sales, development, construction, and financing of privately owned multifamily real estate assets. The Counsel will also manage corporate legal matters, including fund formation, compliance, and risk management.Exciting opportunity to support a privately held real estate investment company with 4 days in the office.Minimum Requirements:

JD from a top US law schoolNY State Bar7-12 years of experience within the real estate private equity legal field, managing real estate private equity transactions from start to finish (multifamily asset class), including acquisitions, JVs, sales, development, construction, and financingsExperience must include time at an AmLaw 100 firm within real estate/private equity practiceExperience gained in-house within the real estate private equity space is idealExcellent communication and presentation skillsAbility to work in-office in ManhattanCompensation:
