NM Studio is seeking a Pilates instructor to work individually with clients or in groups by guiding them through custom exercise plans to help clients achieve their personal fitness goals. The Pilates instructor needs to have awareness of proper body mechanics.Job Type:
Part-time with weekend hoursJob Description:Must be apparatus certifiedMinimum 500-hour comprehensive Pilates education (includes: mat, reformer, chair, and cadillac)Experience with group reformer instructionExperience teaching pre and postnatal clienteleDemonstrate anatomical knowledge and focus on safetyComfortable teaching clients with injuriesUp-to-date CPR certificationWillingness to add yoga and trigger point modalities to teaching repertoireActive learner who is able to evolve with new developments in the fitness industry, with a concentration on PilatesProfessional, pleasant demeanor, and excellent customer service skillsAbility to implement new procedures and proactively communicate with managementTeam player - ease with working with the public, management, and other instructorsTrustworthy, problem solver, good judgment, and keeps confidentialityProfessional and neatPunctual and reliableMaintains open availability for a minimum of 4 hours (2 shifts) per weekActively implement studio education standardsParticipate in networking events as needed in order to promote the studio and generate new businessMaintain honesty and integrityAdditional duties as assignedPhysical Requirements:Must be able to move/push equipmentApply reasoning skills and logic when faced with a problemAble to carry out and provide detailed, written or oral instructionsPilates instructor must be physically able to demonstrate some exercises while teachingIf interested, please email us your resume to
