As an Identity Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting our clients by configuring, managing, and optimizing the SPHEREBoard platform. You will play an integral role in understanding client needs, troubleshooting complex issues, and driving best practices in identity hygiene. You will also collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure client environments are secure and functioning efficiently.
This role requires a solid understanding of IAM principles, hands-on experience with security platforms, and the ability to manage multiple client projects. You will also contribute to ongoing product development by providing feedback and insights based on client interactions.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyze, assess, and mitigate IAM security risks through detailed review of accounts, permissions, entitlements, and metadata.Architect, install, implement, and optimize SPHEREBoard across diverse client environments. Maintain high standards of accuracy and consistency in product deployment and operations.Work closely with clients to gather requirements, configure the platform to meet specific needs, and provide training on effective use of SPHEREBoard.Develop and maintain technical design guides, policy documentation, and process runbooks to ensure accuracy and consistency.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop, communicate, and implement risk remediation strategies. Escalate issues with urgency when necessary and ensure compliance with change control processes.Use advanced data analytics to monitor and report IAM cybersecurity risks. Effectively communicate findings and remediation plans to clients and internal teams at all levels of the organization.Complete projects on time, ensuring alignment with client engagements and Statements of Work (SOW).Participate in special projects involving Unstructured Data, Privileged Access, IAM, Active Directory, UNIX, and more.
Requirements:
3+ years of cybersecurity experience with a focus on IAM, AD, SQL and data analytics.Strong experience deploying and managing security solutions across multiple client environments.Hands-on experience with IAM platforms and familiarity with industry-standard tools such as Varonis, StealthBits, Symantec, CyberArk, Centrify, BeyondTrust, SailPoint, OIM and others.Proficiency in data analysis and reporting, with advanced skills in MS Excel and MS SQL.In-depth understanding of infrastructure platforms like Active Directory, CIFS File Systems, Exchange, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, and SQL.Strong critical thinking, problem solving, and analytical skills, with an ability to prioritize and manage multiple efforts simultaneously.Excellent written and verbal communications skills, capable of translating technical information into actionable insights for various stakeholders.Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with both clients and internal teams.
Additional Requirements:
Willingness to work outside of standard business hours (evenings/weekends) when client requirements or project deadlines demand it.Ability to work onsite at client locations in New York City/Northern New Jersey area as needed.
