As a Construction Management Work Package Owner (WPO), you’ll join our collaborative team providing our clients with award-winning planning, engineering, architectural design, construction management, and design-build project delivery. We are looking for a passionate Construction Professional in Cary, NC who is driven by collaboration, exceeding expectations, and challenging the status quo.
By developing and delivering on project scopes, budgets, reports, contracts, and schedules, you’ll help our teams achieve our client’s objectives. • Bachelor’s degree in in Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline
• 8+ years of experience in managing construction projects related to Life Science and/or Pharmaceutical Production Facility Construction.
• Strong working knowledge of pre-design and pre-construction, building systems/components and technology, contract management, project delivery methods, team building and client relationship building required.
• Demonstrated expert knowledge of Clean Room systems and general building Architectural construction.
• Experience leading contractors and Superintendents for current scope, engineering information, and document drawings/specifications for construction execution.
• Lead management of project quality, safety and security requirements through the roles and responsibilities of the team.
Ideally, you’ll have the following experience:
• Contractor management interface with subcontractors.
• Construction Eng & Scope Management.
• Conduct Weekly Contract Mgt Meetings with Subs
• Responsible for Contract Cost & Change Mgt.
• KPI Contract Reporting (cost/safety/quality)
• Craft Indirects/Site Resource Management
• Submittal Expediting & Review
• Review As-builts for quality and completeness
• Quality Assurance: Verify installation per submittals.
• Quality Assurance: Supports QA team for Compliance
• Cost Forecast and Control
• Progress Verification with Superintendent
• Overall Invoice Approval
• Primary Coordination with Contract Administration
