We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Project Manager to join our Capital Projects and Facilities team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing capital projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with various departments and stakeholders.Key Responsibilities:Lead and manage capital projects from inception to completion, including planning, design, construction, and closeout phases.Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource plans to ensure successful project delivery.Coordinate with contractors, architects, engineers, and other external partners to ensure project requirements are met.Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, quality, and compliance with safety regulations.Manage project budgets, including tracking expenses and ensuring cost control measures are in place.Prepare and present project status reports to senior management and stakeholders.Ensure all project documentation is complete, accurate, and up to date.Lead procurement efforts, including sourcing vendors, negotiating contracts, and ensuring timely delivery of materials and services.Assist in maintenance operations by coordinating with the facilities team to address any issues and ensure the ongoing functionality and efficiency of facilities.Develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures to prevent equipment and facility breakdowns.Collaborate with internal departments such as property management, asset management acquisitions, marketing, and IT to ensure project alignment with organizational goals.Marquette Management offers an Outstanding Benefit package:Exciting and challenging career for talented people seeking growth and commitment.Exceptional training programs.401K + Matching.Medical, Dental and Vision insurance, STD, Life Insurance.Paid Time Off.13 Paid Time Off Holidays/Community Service Day/Cultural Diversity Day.Competitive Compensation.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in project management, with a focus on capital projects and facilities, preferably in a multi-family setting.Proven track record of successfully managing construction and renovation projects.Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.Excellent leadership and team management skills.Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.Proficiency in project management software and tools.Familiarity with Yardi Job Cost and Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).PMP or similar certification is preferred.Strategic Planning: Ability to develop and implement project plans that align with organizational goals.Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills to identify and resolve project-related issues.Attention to Detail: Meticulous in ensuring project specifications and quality standards are met.Collaboration: Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners.Financial Acumen: Strong understanding of budgeting, cost control, and financial management.We believe in equity.
