GRADE : 25LOCATION OF POSITION : MDH, Behavioral Health Administration, Catonsville, MDMain Purpose of Job : This position functions as the Operations Director of the Behavioral Health Administration and provides day-to-day operational guidance, which has a budget of $419 Million and 170 authorized positions. This position will create systems, processes, policies and procedures, and structures to ensure the success of the Behavioral Health Administration in relation to Finance and Fiscal Management, Grants Management, Procurement, and Human Resources.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS : Qualified candidates must possess a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in health, human services or comparable area and six years professional experience in health care administration or operations, three years must have been at a managerial level, and include supervision, budget management, program planning and policy development. Additional experience in health care administration or operations may be substituted at the rate of 30 credit hours for 1 year of experience, up to 4 years.DESIRED OR PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS : Master's degree from an accredited college or university preferred, but not required.SELECTION PROCESS : This is a Management Service position, and serves at the pleasure of the Appointing Authority.
