IT Program Manager

Genesis10 is currently seeking an IT Program Manager with our client in the financial industry located in Charlotte, NC, Plano, TX, and Pennington, NJ. This is a 12+ month contract position.
Responsibilities:Responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivery of defined deliverables which usually requires engagement from multiple teams such as a project or smaller programCommunicating the work objectives, coordinating delivery, managing risks, ensuring compliance to standards, and providing end-to-end visibility into the health of the deliverablesEnsures execution and delivery meets the client's expectations in terms of the functionality, quality, timeline and costFacilitate sync points across multiple organizations to enable delivery
Requirements:
5-7 years previous experience managing technology projects using SDLC methodologies (Agile and/or Waterfall)Strong organizational and planning skillsStrong leadership skills to lead project team to deliver the technology solution with quality, on-time, and within budgetStrong communication skills to effectively and clearly communicate project status, issues, risks at all levels including key stakeholders and executivesAbility to identify, communicate, and drive critical path activities, dependencies, timelines, and resourcesExperience managing project budget and financials to execute appropriate due diligence and financial management routines to deliver against financial commitmentsAbility to drive Enterprise Project Standards for planning, executing, and controls and meeting project audit requirementsRisk management and ability to identify potential risks and escalate as needed, remove roadblocks to ensure progressAbility to identify all impacted teams, applications, and engage as needed for design, development, testing through to deployment(s)Ability to partner with testing teams to ensure testing timelines and deliverables are metAbility to identify deployment readiness plans and documentation and ensure deployment timelines and event are coordinated with broader planned release activities and externally impacted application teamsProactive in driving team to achieve commitments and results
