What this job involves:As a mailroom clerk at JLL, your primary responsibility will be to efficiently manage and distribute all incoming and outgoing mail and packages. You will play a crucial role in ensuring that mail is delivered accurately and promptly throughout the organization, contributing to the smooth functioning of daily operations.

Your day-to-day tasks will include:Receiving, logging, and sorting incoming mail and packagesDistributing mail to the appropriate departments or individuals within the organizationPreparing outgoing mail and packages for shipping, including packaging, labeling, and arranging courier servicesOperating mailroom equipment such as postage meters and mail sorting machinesMaintaining accurate records of incoming and outgoing mail and packagesHandling and resolving any mail-related issues or discrepanciesAssisting with inventory management of office suppliesCollaborating with other departments to ensure effective mail flow and distributionMaintaining a clean and organized mailroom area

Desired experience and technical skills:Proven experience in a mailroom or similar support roleFamiliarity with mailroom operations, including mail sorting and distribution proceduresBasic computer skills and proficiency in MS Office SuiteStrong attention to detail and excellent organizational skillsAbility to lift and move heavy packagesGood communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred:Experience with mailroom equipment such as postage meters and sorting machinesKnowledge of shipping procedures and regulationsFamiliarity with inventory management systemsAbility to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlinesExcellent problem-solving skills and ability to handle mail-related issues efficiently
