In certain jurisdictions, CBIZ CPAs operates under its previous name, Mayer Hoffman McCann P.C.Essential Functions and Primary DutiesInteract closely with clients to provide innovative business tax planning, consulting and compliance services in a timely and effective manner.Review & prepare federal and state individual, partnership, C corp, S corp tax returns, including exercising professional judgment with respect to issue identification to develop solutions to tax issues in returns.Supervise and help drive the success of multiple engagements in corporate, partnership and individual taxation.Ensure complete client satisfaction through open communication, managing and meeting deadlines and proactively sharing tax saving strategies.Work closely with Managing Directors and staff on client management, professional development and business development activities.Supervise, develop, train and mentor staff including performance and engagement reviews.Attend professional development and continuing education sessions on a regular basis.Other related duties as assigned.Preferred QualificationsMaster’s degree preferred in Accounting, Taxation or related field.Minimum QualificationsBachelor’s degree required.8 years of experience in public accounting or related field.6 years of supervisory experience.Must have active CPA or equivalent certification.Ability to manage deadlines, work on multiple assignments and prioritize each assignment as necessary.Proficient use of applicable technology.Demonstrated ability to communicate verbally and in writing throughout all levels of organization, both internally and externally.Proven high level of business integrity, client service and leadership skills.Must be able to travel based on client and business needs.The annual salary target for this job in this market is $200,000-$235,000. The specific compensation for this role will be determined based on the education, experience, and skill set of the individual selected for this position.The compensation above is not representative of an employee’s total compensation.
