Support the Marketing/Communications team by serving as primary liaison with Human Resources to promote and enhance the company’s award-winning cultureOversee the content and resources made available to employees through our intranet portal “IntraGUARD Zone”Support the company’s mission, vision, values, and guiding principles through an enhanced internal communication strategySupport employee recruitment efforts through externally magnifying GUARD as an attractive employer brand using a range of tactics across social media platforms, including Glassdoor, and other relevant tacticsWork closely with Human Resources to develop and execute programs, events, and activities that enhance employee engagement and overall well-being across all offices and with remote employeesOversee reputation management strategy, work to improve/secure favorable company ratings from Google Reviews, BBB, Indeed, and coordinate appropriate responses to complaints and media inquiriesWork closely with the Marketing Team and HR to organize internal meetings, training sessions, and events including our annual off-site Summit and Holiday PartyWork closely with the Marketing Team to create a repository of employee testimonials (including videos) in support of our culture, mission, vision, and valuesCreate tools to maintain brand identity internally and offer easy access to resources for interdisciplinary complianceAssist with enhancing corporate sustainability strategyAssist with enhancing philanthropic strategy/community involvement with multiple US field offices as well as remote employeesWork closely with brand ambassadors at field offices to extend company cultureCreate, own and implement a media relations strategy, both proactive and reactive, to support our objectivesQualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Human Resources, or related fieldAt least five years of experience with employee engagement and/or communication/media relations strategiesSkilled in Microsoft Office Suite, Word, Excel, PowerPointExcellent writing and communication skillsHighly creativeDemonstrated leadership qualitiesWillingness to travel periodically to field offices countrywideFamiliarity with Adobe Creative Suite and WordPress a plusExperience with event planning and project management a plusUnderstanding of the insurance industry a plus
