Are you a skilled and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist with a passion for enhancing students' lives? AnthroMed Education is seeking a qualified professional to join our team at one of our partner schools in Plainfield, Illinois, filling a temporary FMLA position.
Position Overview:
As a Speech-Language Pathologist with AnthroMed Education, you will play a vital role in fostering students' communication and language skills. Collaborating with educators, families, and other specialists, will help create a supportive and inclusive environment for learning. This role offers a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of elementary students, backed by the resources and expertise of AnthroMed Education. It is also important for the SLP to be proficient with AAC and have expertise in articulation, language, and fluency for this role.
Responsibilities:
Provide full-time therapy services, Monday through Friday, from Monday, March 10th to Thursday, May 29th.
Deliver speech and language therapy to elementary students.
Direct and consult minutes to students with diverse communication needs.
Conduct assessments to diagnose speech and language disorders.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to drive student success.
Provide direct therapy, both one-on-one and in groups.
Monitor and document progress, adjusting interventions as needed.
Stay informed on best practices in speech-language pathology and engage in professional development.
Additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
Illinois state licensure and ASHA certification.
Experience with school-aged children, preferably in an elementary setting.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
A commitment to helping students reach their full potential.
