Junior Software Project Manager

We are seeking an ambitious, self-motivated person to join our growing team. This position will coordinate the activities of a software development team, working with product owners to create development plans, and ensure the development process enables the rapid delivery of custom solutions with high quality.
How you will make an impact as a Junior Software Project Manager:
Responsible for breaking the roadmap into milestones, epics, and stories, maintain prioritized backlogs as projects evolve
Coordinates activities of the software development team with other cross-functional teams (ie. Systems, V&V, Regulatory and Quality)
Ensuring projects meet milestones and quality measures in a timely manner by quickly identifying and removing roadblocks, and contributing to project deliverables
Contribute to the development of project-level documentation in support of Quality and Regulatory including project plans, requirements, technical design descriptions and cybersecurity deliverables
Skills you will need to be successful:
Bachelor’s degree and at least 2 years of experience in technical project leadership
3+ years hands on experience with cloud-native development (backend or full stack) and a solid understanding of distributed design for scalable solutions
Outstanding communication, facilitation, negotiation, and coaching skills
Knowledge of agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban), understanding of software development life cycle models as well as in-depth knowledge of traditional project management principles and practices
Adept at refinement, story splitting, estimation, velocity, retrospection, and other Scrum techniques
Planning and problem solving with product management and delivery teams
