Master Planner Summary:

Work as part of a team to align Demand & Supply Plans for Clinical Drug Supply Packaging, Release and Distribution activities. Support the planning, sourcing, and inventory management of common materials.

Primary activities:

Generate and manage activity schedules.

Coordinate master schedules deliverables with external partners.

Facilitate Scheduler Forums.

Monitor timelines and communications.

Generate reports to monitor schedule adherence.

Define and establish metrics, measure and compare against benchmarks, monitor change control, and continuously optimize process.

Maintain Business Rules and Standard Cycle Times.

Support the global inventory management of bulk drug product, primary packaged drug product, clinical packaged supplies and packaging components.

Manage the destruction of obsolete Investigational materials.

Monitor Merck supplied components at packaging vendors sites and schedule component movements to meet demand.

Monitor component shipment and release timing for components shipped overseas.

Coordinate Sampling and Expiry extensions.

Educational Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree preferred

Required Experience/Skills:

2+ years (with degree)

5+ years (without degree)

Proven experience in developing and managing detailed project schedules, coordinating with various departments to ensure alignment of resources

Data analytics background

Forecasting, collaboration, financial acumen, detail oriented, problem solving, organization skills, project management skills

Ability to navigate within the function, business acumen, self-motivated, proactive behaviors and reliable

The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $82,400.00 - $137,400.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
