Womble Bond Dickinson (US) LLP seeks a Conflicts Coordinator to support the Conflicts Team. The Conflicts Coordinator will review conflicts reports, work with Firm personnel and attorneys to identify conflict issues, maintain conflicts database information and review staff and attorney intake materials. This is a remote position and can be located in NC, GA, SC or AL.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Review, vet and process requests for conflicts searchesPerform corporate research and conflicts checks to generate conflicts reportsWork closely with the General Counsel's Office on lateral hire and new business intake conflicts assignmentsReview conflict database details to prepare general conflicts summaries for firm lawyers and General Counsel's OfficeInteract with attorneys and firm personnel to discuss conflicts data and potential action itemsPrepare conflicts documentation relating to conflict queriesMaintain conflicts database to record and update all conflict related activitiesFollow best practices and stay current with process improvementsWork on other conflicts related projects as required
REQUIREMENTS:
Associate's or Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and three years of related experience and/or trainingTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each duty satisfactorily, with attention to detailExcellent client service is expected. Strong oral and written communication skills requiredAbility to work well under pressure and meet time-sensitive deadlinesCommunicate and share information effectively, accurately, promptly, and with good judgmentAble to manage multiple projects while adapting to changing prioritiesPunctuality and satisfactory attendance is imperativeWilling to work overtime as neededTo perform this job successfully, an individual should have a working knowledge of various types of technology, such as Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel. Working knowledge of and experience with Intapp intake/conflicts software a plus.
COMPENSATION: Be advised that starting salary will be determined based on location, qualifications and experience. The regional average salary range for this role is $41,700 - $79,200.
