Position Summary
We are looking for an experienced Sr. Director level Supply Chain Planning & ERP Transformation to lead our organization’s Global Planning process as well as assume responsibility for our digital transformation initiative. The successful candidate will be responsible for global network planning in our Biologics business as well as overseeing implementation of improvements to current digital assets, ensuring alignment with business goals, driving digital transformation across the site operational organizations. This role will be a key leader on the Global Supply Chain team. In addition to heading the Planning processes, you will lead the JD Edwards ERP initiative through all phases of improvement such as concept, business case preparation, socialization to approval and subsequently design, implementation, and value realization. During these program phases, you will regularly communicate progress and key metrics to executive leadership ensuring the program’s success is understood and supported at the highest level.
Your work will enhance efficiency, visibility, and agility across the supply chain enabling new business models, enhanced customer experience, driving competitive advantage. This role will closely collaborate with other Global Business Process Owners, technology, and business stakeholders.
The Role
Lead global network Planning as the Global Business Process Leader (GBPL), driving best practices across multiple sites.
Manage JDE ERP evolution, including requirement gathering and prioritization.
Analyze and optimize business processes, assessing maturity and defining harmonization strategies.
Architect vertically integrated processes and systems around core ERP, breaking functional silos.
Spearhead business transformation initiatives within Catalent Global Supply Chain, collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Drive adoption of new technologies and best practices to enhance operational efficiency.
Develop and implement change management strategies, providing guidance and mentorship to team members.
Monitor program progress, measure impact, and provide regular stakeholder updates.
Identify and mitigate risks to ensure program success.
The Candidate
Degree in Computer Science, IT, Supply Chain, Engineering, Business Administration or related field.
15+ years leadership experience in business management, IT, or consulting, focusing on Supply Chain and Operations.
Proven track record leading large-scale ERP or business transformation projects across industries.
Experience managing multi-million dollar budgets and large project teams.
In-depth understanding of major ERP platforms and their integration with other enterprise systems.
Expertise in ERP functional modules, especially in planning, production, quality, and logistics.
Strong knowledge of end-to-end planning processes and SI&OP / MRPII processes.
Familiarity with cloud technologies, AI, machine learning, and IoT in ERP context.
Experience in business process reengineering, optimization, and documentation.
Proficiency in feasibility studies, RFP processes, and vendor management.
Expertise in Computer System Validation and technical specification development.
Experience in test planning, execution, and validation across various stages.
Change management and user adoption strategy expertise.
Proficiency in project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid).
Experience in Pharma, Biopharma, and CDMO industry sector preferred.
Pay
The anticipated salary range for this position in Maryland is $203,000 to $320,000 plus variable incentive compensation. The final salary offered to a successful candidate may vary, and will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to: the type and length of experience within the job, type and length of experience within the industry, skillset, education, business needs, etc.
