$100,000- 110,000/Year with Benefits
Requested Clearance:
Active Secret Clearance
Role & Responsibilities: Design, implement, and manage firewall solutions to protect DCMA's network infrastructure. Administer and maintain Check Point firewalls, ensuring optimal performance and security. Monitor firewall logs and alerts, conducting detailed analysis to detect and respond to security incidents. Collaborate with IT and security teams to develop and enforce network security policies and procedures. Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify and mitigate potential vulnerabilities. Provide technical support and troubleshooting for firewall-related issues. Stay updated with the latest security trends, threats, and technology advancements to continuously enhance firewall security measures. Develop and maintain detailed documentation, including firewall configurations, policies, and incident reports. Participate in incident response activities and coordinate with other security teams to address security incidents promptly. Train and mentor junior staff on firewall administration and security best practices
Requirements:
Active DOD Secret Security Clearance. CCIE Certification and/or Fore Scout Certified Engineer (FSCE) certification. Minimum of 5 years of experience in network access control and security engineering. DISA Comply To Connect Deployment experience -802.1X deployment experience Extensive experience with Fore Scout solutions, including deployment, configuration, and management. Strong understanding of network security principles, protocols, and technologies. Experience with DOD security policies, regulations, and compliance requirements. Proficient in conducting risk assessments and implementing mitigation strategies. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred).
